What is the Dream Team?
The mission of the Dream Team is to build the body of Christ by each person fulfilling their calling and serving to make an eternal difference. Below you can scroll through our different teams and apply to join one at your home campus.
Admin
Our team uses our gift of administration to support Summit Church teams by using computer skills, data entry, and attention to detail.
Baptism
Our team prepares for and encourages people as they take this next step in their faith by being water baptized.
Coffee
Our team loves people through coffee-and they have a lot of fun in the process-sharing in community with each other and our entire church!
Creative Media + Design
Through Photography, Videography + Social Media, this team tells the stories that are all around us. This team is also responsible for creating Set Designs for At the Movies every summer. No experience Necessary.
Decor
Our team uses our God-given gifts to create a beautiful and inviting environment throughout the church for weekend services and special events.
Greeter
The simple act of saying hello and welcoming people into the building goes a long way in showing the love of Jesus to our guests. Whether you’re stationed at a main door or inside the church auditorium, you will make them feel welcome!
Info Center
Our team interacts with guests by providing them accurate information about events happening at Summit, assisting them in purchasing tickets and sale items, and acting as a ‘first stop’ for guests
Kids
Our team invests in the lives of children, ages 3 months through 5th grade, through games and play, worship, Biblical teaching, and creating safe and inviting environments for them. .
Medical
If you’re a medical professional or first responder, this may be just the spot for you! Team members are on-call during the regular service they attend should a need arise. This team is not often called upon, but greatly appreciated!
Parking
Our team has the unique privilege of being the first hello and last “have a great week” as we welcome and guide our guests to available parking and exits.
Production
Behind the scenes of every weekend worship experience and large event, we have a team that is rarely seen, but always felt. This team assists in the production of the overall worship experience using lights, cameras, and other visual elements.
Set Up + Tear Down
Our team facilitates cleaning, set up, and tear down before and after weekend worship experiences and special events
Usher
Our team assists people to their seats, facilitates communion, assists with head count, and helps maintain a distraction-free environment.
Women's Ministry
From greeting to set up and tear down, there are over 14 teams that serve at our She Is events to make our guests feel welcome and loved.
Worship
Our team serves the church by leading worship with excellence through our God-given giftings.
Young Adults
It is our heart to see every young adult come to experience the love of Jesus, be connected to one another in community, and learn how to minister to those that need Jesus. This team is made up of young adults ages 18-29.
Youth
Our team ministers to students from 6th-12th grade each Wednesday night through Small Groups, ministering to students at the altar, and equipping students to share the Gospel in their schools.
Teams that require Membership:
–Care Team: helps facilitates funerals held at the church and hospital visits
–Online Host: connects with guests of Summit from around the world through our Online Campus experience with prayer and online conversations
–Prayer: cares for the church body through prayer
–Security: ensures a safe environment and provides a layer of protection during weekend worship experiences, weekly classes, and special events.
–Small Group Leaders: facilitates Small Groups + builds relationships while helping group members discover their next steps
Why Membership?
Membership at Summit is not about adding your name to a roster, it’s about connecting with the people and the vision of the church. We view membership as a partnership between our members and the church. To learn more about membership, watch Pastor Mel’s video teaching.
