We are collecting food throughout the month of February for our community children! ICAAP's donation operated program is designed to help meet the needs of children at risk of hunger when food resources aren’t available for them, mostly during non-school hours, especially weekends and holidays. These students range in age from 5-12 years old and are in the 12 Elementary Schools in the 7 School Districts in Indiana County. Through this program, the food is distributed each week & there is no charge to the children’s families or the school district for this service. HOW CAN YOU HELP? You can bring in food donations to the Discovery Room of Summit Church during weekend services or during office hours during the week. (Monday-Thursday from 9AM-5PM). We will have totes set up to collect food donations. Are you a new Christian that is a bit overwhelmed with the Bible? Do you wonder why and how to pray, what it means to be a Christian, and what your next steps are? We have developed a group just for you! It meets at church at 7PM every Wednesday except for 2nd Wednesdays when we have our worship experience in the auditorium. Childcare may be arranged if needed. You are welcome to join in at any time.
There will be no in-person services on December 26 + 27 to give our teams time to rest.
